Great Walks, Starting from Arncliffe
There are many great walks starting from Arncliffe for all ages and abilities. Whether you want a gentle stroll on the flat to Litton across the meadows, alongside the river through Scoska Wood Nature Reserve and then back along the lane to Arncliffe (approx. 4.5 Miles - Level) or a hardy route march over Old Cote Moor to Starbotton, on to Kettlewell through Cam Pasture, then back to Arncliffe over the hills again! (approx. 7.5 Miles - Steep)
One of the most popular walks is over the top of the moor to Kettlewell, back to Hawkswick, taking the low side of Knipe Scar then along the banks of the river Skirfare to beautiful Arncliffe. (approx. 6.5 Miles - Moderate)
There are many more walks and many variations of most of them, when you plan which route to take, time and physical fitness are your only limits here.
